Using a non-diet approach to weight management, we evaluate where each individual is at regarding food intake, activity, perceptions about food, and body image. We explore obstacles to changing eating behaviors and provide strategies to break them down. And we’ll be glad to communicate with your doctor if we believe that you are doing all that you can and perhaps other variables may need to be explored.
Realistic Goals, Long-Term Change
Emphasis is on long-term healthy changes and meeting realistic goals. You will work on distinguishing hunger from non-hunger eating triggers — such as stress, boredom, and social eating triggers. You’ll also get information and support for managing any other medical conditions you may have.
