Margot has been with Lori F Lieberman & Associates since 2002 and works with clients in the Quincy office, daytime and evenings. In addition to being a Registered Dietitian with more than 20 years experience, she has the added credential of Certified Diabetes Educator, an expertise in diabetes management. Patients appreciate her practical approach, assessing what they know about nutrition as well as their goals, and breaking down the obstacles to change. She enjoys working with clients of all ages, helping them improve the quality of their diet and their eating behaviors to improve their health.
She specializes in diabetes and pre-diabetes, weight management (child, teen and adults), digestive issues (including celiac disease and IBS), sports nutrition, infertility and perinatal nutrition.
Prior to joining the practice, Margot worked as a clinical nutritionist at South Shore Hospital, Weymouth; at the inpatient and outpatient weight management programs at Jewish Memorial Hospital and Rehabilitation Center and at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston.
She has provided lectures to teachers and families on child nutrition and to high school sports teams on sports nutrition and is currently working on her sports nutrition certification.
Margot received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island and completed her dietetic internship based at St Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
