Margot joined Lori F. Lieberman & Associates in 2002, and works with clients in the South Weymouth office. She is known for her practical and gentle approach helping patients change their eating behaviors. Certified as a Diabetes Educator (CDE), Margot particularly enjoys working with individuals to manage their diabetes. She makes it her priority to juggle her schedule to accommodate gestational diabetics so that they are seen within one week, as is recommended.
Margot takes a positive, family approach to educating and supporting children managing their weight, food allergies and other conditions. She also works with individuals with celiac and other GI issues, high cholesterol, hypertension, renal disease, failure to thrive and prenatal and postpartum issues.
Her experience includes work at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston, the Jewish Memorial Hospital and Rehabilitation Center, Boston, in the hospital’s inpatient and outpatient weight management programs, and at South Shore Hospital, Weymouth, Massachusetts, where she was a clinical nutritionist.
Margot received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island and completed her dietetic internship based at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
